Course Description
This is a 1-day Water Jetting Association (WJA) City & Guilds accredited Safety Awareness refresher re-cap course which is delivered in conjunction with an operational module.
The practical and theory-based course covers the main areas of high pressure water jetting operations and safety requirements, including types of water jetting activities, equipment, water jetting pressures and flow rates, risk assessment, and the use of appropriate safety clothing.
The Safety Awareness refresher is completed first and then an operational module covering both theory and practical.
(DSP) Drain and Sewer Cleaning and use of a Jetting Gun up to 275 bar
**Please note where candidates have more than one operational module on their Water Jetting Association registration card, then all modules will renew for 3 years upon successful completion of the Safety Awareness refresher plus one module**
Course Aims
The course provides a refresher on the Water Jetting Association's Blue "Code of Practice for the use of High Pressure Water Jetting Equipment".
On completion of the Safety Awareness refresher, candidates will complete the DSP module inclusive of theory, practical, and assessment.
Who Should Attend?
Candidates who are renewing their water jetting association registrations who carry out operational activities associated with Drain and Sewer, combined with the use of jetting guns up to 275 bar.
